We drove to Washington DC on the 4th of the 9th of 2023.
We went to the White House!!. Then we went to the museum of Natural History; there were dinosaurs and sea animals, crystals and jewels, mammals, stuffed birds like turkey and eagle and chicks with their family, and an insectarium (but it was closed). They also had mummies and the evolution of humans.
5th of the 9th of 2023 we went to the air and space museum; we saw spacecrafts and space suits and how fast spacecrafts are and so much more stuff I can’t write down, it was really cool. Then all the planes and jets and the Wright brothers bike and the first plane by them, and there were so many planes and two of them you got to go in and see the toilets and all the storage and seats, there was a plane that really looked like one from star wars too!
6th of the 9th of 2023 We went to the Washington Monument and we had to wait about 20-30 minutes after our time, which was 10:30am we left about 11:00am.
When we got to the top by elevator we could see all the special monuments like Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial and lots of others.
After that we went to Lincoln memorial and saw a statue of Lincoln sitting on a seat and it had writing all over it. Then we went to the state capital and went inside and had an audio tour then we got to go in this really cool tunnel that led us to the Library of Congress and did a treasure hunt then went home.
7th of the 9th of 2023 We went to Jefferson Memorial then went to the postal museum and saw the first stamp ever made and an upside down one too!
