The Grand Canyon

We drove to the Grand Canyon. It was a 7hr drive. We had two stops. One of them was a stop at four corners and paid … $8 per person so we paid $32. Four Corners is where four states join up and you can stand in the middle.

After that we drove to a campground in Williams. It was so cool. There was a jumping pillow, a big playground and a really cool little playground that was a tree house. It had a wiggly ladder up to the top and a non-wiggly ladder, two slides, a big one and a small one.

At check-in there was a white board that said stuff you can do that day and the next one. At the end of the day we got to go on go karts. It was so fast but it wasn’t as fast as I was thinking. Neither Alex nor dad thought so too but mum did not like it at all.

Then at the end of the day we got to do a lollipop hunt at the big playground. I gave away lots of mine because lots of the little kids were pushed around.

We also got to do mini golf at night, it was all lit up and called cosmic golf. It was so cool, and easier it seemed, because we also did it at daytime when there were no lights on and we could see the lumps and ditches/holes.

We drove to the Grand Canyon and did the south rim trail.

We saw a trail that daddy did when he was younger (20yrs). We went on another trail called: Travel through time, where we saw lots of old rocks and as we kept on walking, there were numbers for each 10 million years. When we went back to the car we saw a mummy elk with her baby and when we were eating lunch I found a girl elk.

The Grand Canyon was huge with huge drops and the Colorado river was so blue, but we couldn’t really see because we were so far away from the river!

This is all at the Grand Canyon.
