Today we got to watch Finn (Haddy’s older brother, Finn and Haddy are Su’s and Rich’s sons, which are mum and dads friends!) play some Fortnite in the morning. When he had finished, Haddy and I played some Minecraft and found seven diamonds. We also found a mineshaft that contained so many good ores!
For breakfast we had pancakes, and they were delicious! We had lots of different toppings to put on our pancakes, like nutella, jam, and honey! Haddy and I played some more Minecraft until lunch, we found a nice place to build our house near our awesome cave, we built some paddocks for our animals, and I got a dog!
For lunch we had this super yummy rectangular pizza! After lunch, Haddy, Finn, Dad, Abi, Rich, and I played some soccer/football for an hour. It technically was a draw because Rich said that whoever scored the next goal would win, I scored but Rich said (again) whoever scored next would win, then they scored. (It was a draw). IT WAS SO FUN!!!
When it was getting dark at 6 o'clock, we went to a market. It was very cold, but there were cool lights!! We got a Flap-Jack (oats with caramel and chocolate) Haddy and I also saw a ‘FREE TASTERS’ sign. The free tasters sign was: shortbread. It was very yummy, we also got a very nice brownie. TODAY WAS VERY FUN!!!

Today we went to the TOWER OF LONDON!!! (If you don’t know what this place is, it is where the Crown Jewels are kept!)
We travelled there by driving for one hour and hopping on the train for 42 minutes. I thought that the fortress was quite small for my first fortress. But when we got inside and had our self guide tours ready, I thought it was quite big.
We first went up some stairs to feel some of the original carpet from the king’s room. I didn’t really want to touch the rest because the first carpet was wet and dirty. After that we saw a few old toys that the king’s and queen’s kids would have played with. There was a destroyed toy soldier that was made of metal. The sign said that the toys were mostly made to look like the things inside of the fortress, like soldiers, guards, kings and queens, and butlers and maids.
We saw the Tower Bridge rise to let a boat that had a bit excessive pole for a mast.
Then after the bridge came back down we decided that we were going to go and see the CROWN JEWELS! We saw that there was a door as thick as a fridge for the vault door, it looked like it was made of solid steel.
We saw a lot of shining gold and silver (the gold was mostly just plates and cutlery). It was a bit crowded when we entered, but it got less crowded the more we went in. We walked and looked at lots of stuff that I didn’t really want to see.
When I finally turned a corner prepared to see more maces, beef eater’s suits, or rings, I actually saw the eagle and the spoon! When I had looked at the spoon and the eagle, I turned and saw a golden robe! There was also a jewel-plated sword. When we came to the travelator (basically an escalator but flat), we knew that we would see the real Crown Jewels!
Because I wanted to see the crown jewels first, I ran to the travelator but I had to wait for mum and dad to come. When they got there, we went on and saw the staff which held the biggest diamond in the world! It is called the Cullinan I and was about the same size as my fist! We saw lots of very sparkly crowns and staffs! When we had hopped off, we went and saw the IMPERIAL STATE CROWN!!! It had so many diamonds it must be worth BILLIONS!
We weren't allowed to take any pictures of the Crown Jewels though, so you'll just have to look them up online.
IT WAS SO FUN!!!
