Today we went to the SnowHotel&Glass Igloos in Rovaniemi in Finland. It was a taxi ride to get there.
Then we went to Santa’s Village. When we got there we were escorted by our tour guide and we were getting shown around. After that we went to a temperature monitor and guess what the temperature was… -25°!!! But earlier we had seen a temperature that said -33°!!!
Then we went to Snowman World (in Santa Claus Village). It had a labyrinth and some really fun slides and ice skating and pretty carvings.
Then we went to lunch at a buffet. It was very filling and they had gluten free crispy chicken and fries.
Then we waited for our guide to come and pick us up. We ended up waiting about 15 minutes but he never came, it turned out he forgot about us because he had another group and he was very apologetic though.
Then we went to a husky sleigh ride and we got to go on one and it was so fast!! Alex saw one of the dogs going toilet and the man said it was lucky!! They even let us pat one!!!
Then we went to santa and got our photo with him because we didn’t get one that year so we ALL had a photo!!!
Then we went to Snowman World and mum and I did a few slides and when we were at the top of one we saw the bus coming to pick us up but mum and I were at the front of the queue so we did a slide and then we ran as fast as we could!!! Then we went back to the snowhotel.
