We drove to Seattle on the 31/10/2023.
First we went to the dollar store and mum and I went to see if they had some glitter hair spray that I could wear with my mermaid costume. But they didn’t have any.
We got changed in the car into our costumes, because it was late when we got to our house.
At the start we went to a house up their back path and the women there gave us a scoop of candy. Alex went through a haunted little creepy house but I got too scared so I didn’t.
But then a guy wearing a creepy costume came behind me and then started talking and said you have to go through to get candy but I didn’t. I thought it was a lot mean because for little kids they would get scared:
1.because he was wearing a creepy costume.
2.because he was forcing you to go through the house to get the candy.
Alex and I got sooo much candy. We both came back half way and had heavy bags but then at the end of the night we had two heavy bags. Alex and I now know what it’s like to do trick or treating in America.
There was another house that gave us a huge Skittle bag. Alex and I each have one. There also was a house that gave us a king size KitKat! I can’t have it so I gave mine to mum and dad.
I felt scared when I was getting forced to go through something I didn't want to. It was fun getting all the candy.

Q.Why do cows wear bells?
A.Because their horns don’t work!
