Today we arrived in Morocco. We got to Marrakech at about 1:00am in the morning, it took us about an hour to get out of the airport!! (Though I'm pretty sure that's normal). Then we went in a taxi to our hotel and the taxi driver was talking to everyone on his phone at 2am in the morning like it was normal!!! The next day was a relax day so we slept through most of it. Then we went to get lunch.
The next day we met Youssef, he is our tour driver.
My favourite part of our journey with Youssef was when we went camel riding on the Sahara Dunes
,visiting the Sahara Desert
and going quad biking on the Sahara Desert!!!
We were in the car driving on the Sahara Desert and everyone was very excited apart from Youssef because he’s been there lots. When we were driving to get to our hotel for that night we accidentally got stuck in a dune and dad and Youssef got out to try and get the car out of the dune!! Then dad asked mum and Alex to get out and help push the car out of the dune,luckily we got out of the dune.
Later in the day mum said “Youssef you just made everyone’s day!!”
The next day we went camel riding!! We went camel riding when it was just before sunset.
Then when we got to the end of our trip on camelback I got a stone camel.
Today we went quad biking on the Sahara Desert. I was with dad on the bike,Alex was by himself and so was mum. We had a guide too. It was really fun and the guide found a sand fish!!
