“TODAYS MY BIRTHDAY!!!” Was the first thing I thought when I woke up. And then Abi immediately whispered; "happy birthday Alex!'' in my ear. Grandma and Grandpa Currie called me first, we had a long chat about my birthday and we showed them the view on our balcony. It isn’t a very nice view (we're looking out to the street filled with garbage and homeless people, there's also a sewage smell). Then Grandad and Grandma Mulgrew called me, we talked about the same stuff, except that they asked me what presents I have, I said; none. When the Grandparents had finished talking, dad actually gave me a present! The present was a game card for my nintendo, the game is called Mario Maker 2. The game is that you make the Mario worlds yourself, you can customise everything and you can pick how big you want the world. After a while of making cool Mario worlds, we went out to explore the city of Naples.
We saw so much stuff! That stuff included; an amazing church with some wonderful paintings on the ceiling, a super weird white plastic statue, that was standing next to a gigantic pile of washing, the washing looked like it had never been washed! (But on the other hand, the artist could have purposefully made the washing to look like that) Last but not least; a humongous castle! The castle had four look-out towers and it was made of a brownish-grey-concrete-like substance. We got some delicious pizza for lunch, it was traditional Naples pizza, my pizza had ham and ricotta filling! (I liked the crust more because it was so soft) We then went home after going to a waterfront memorial that had a wonderful looking statue in the middle of the fountain.
We had a super fun party with marshmallows and squishy cream and gummy bears for the party food. We listened to my songs that I had written down in my diary when we were in America. We also blew up some balloons to play with. We had my $4.99 euro cake, it was actually quite nice. The cake had a caramel custard-like filling, but the cake texture felt like bread, it was fine though. We went to bed when it was 9:30pm.
MY BIRTHDAY WAS THE BEST IT COULD BE!
Ps: well it could’ve been better if I had gotten gobstoppers
