Today we went to Golden Gate Park. We walked around a lake called Stow Lake. We saw turtles on lots of rocks. One of them swam up to us and took a piece of bread from mine and Alex’s hand. It was soo cute!
Then we went to a stadium and Alex and I pretended to play songs and sing them. It was soo fun!!!
Then we went to a flower conservatory. We first saw tropical flowers and plants, then we saw pitcher plants, they were so cool and Alex showed me some of the stuff inside them.
We saw some orchids that looked really cool. They had zebra stripes that were purple.
We also saw some GIANT GIANT lilipads. Also we saw lots of hibiscis flowers. We saw some purple, yellow mixed with red, pink, red, yellow, and plain hibiscus.
Further on we saw some really cool trees leaning over. They were really big too. Then Alex spotted some HUGE fish. One was as big as a brand new pencil and a half the other one was a little bit smaller (taking away the half). The little fish was a milky way colour (kind of milky way) the other one was mixed colours, red, yellow and white.
We saw loads of spiders they gave me creeps "what if it jumps on me, what if it’s secretly going to bite me, what if” so on and so on. I felt so scared thinking about the spiders. The flowers made me feel happy and calm like everything is all cupcakes and rainbows not saying that's all bad stuff. The flowers smelled like gardenia, we also heard frogs but we couldn't see any so they were probably just speakers.
