The day after Science-World we went to Granville Island to see all the shops and to go to the Kids-Market and the market for adults. We went to the Kids-Market first and then we went to the market for adults, the kid market had lots of cool toys but we weren't allowed to buy anything “because it is rubbish”. The adult market just had food but yet again we just had to walk past all the dumplings, sushi, pizza, ice-creams, chocolates, lollies, can you see where i’m going with this? In the end we just had our lunch and went home.

We went to Gastown to see the Steam-Clock which is the main and only attraction there. When I got out of the subway I saw a statue made of gold. The statue, it turns out, wasn’t actually a statue, it was a person standing so still that he looked like a statue! I only figured out that it was a real person because he moved his eyes to look at people. (the statue/person dressed up as a statue had spray-painted all of his clothes gold, he had even spray-painted his skin gold! The Steam-Clock wasn’t really interesting, it was just a clock run by steam (in the name) and every fifteen minutes it would make a melody of five notes (which we got to hear) and every hour a tune would play.

We went to Stanley Park and Vancouver Aquarium. We first went to the aquarium to look at all the animals and to have our lunch. It was amazing how many different animals were there, there even was an alive anaconda! (which is in my animals to see list). I really liked to see all the new sea animals that I have only seen on a screen. I will name some of the animals that I remember and like, these are the animal names: anaconda, piranha, sea lions, sea otter, jellyfish, and that's only some of the very amazing creatures at the aquarium. When we left we went to find the totem poles (which were lots of animals sitting on top of each other), it took ages to get there and when we were walking I saw a carriage getting pulled by two horses, it looked like they were struggling to pull it. When we saw the totem poles we walked around half of Stanley Park, it was HOT!
